
Paloma Noriega has worked for the past two years on climate change in the UNFCCC secretariat, including on topics related to adaptation and measuring progress towards the Paris Agreement goals, as well as supporting research at the Institute for Environment and Human Security of the UN University on ecosystem-based approaches and sustainable land management. She has worked on topics related to the climate change – peace nexus, including in collaboration with Interpeace, as part of her Master in International Affairs at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and as organizer and moderator of events at the Geneva Peace Week.
